Max Boxing Promotions is in association with the governing body of the Nepal Professional Boxing Commission (NPBC).
The Nepal Professional Boxing Commission (NPBC) is the exclusive licensed governing association for boxing, possessing the rights and permissions to organize, conduct, and manage professional boxing fights and events in Nepal.
NPBC is officially sanctioned by both The World Boxing Commission (WBC) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO) as the sole governing body for all professional fights and fighters within Nepal. It is authorized to oversee domestic competitions and also facilitates the participation of Nepali boxers in international boxing events and tournaments globally.
Actively engaged in recruiting boxers from across Nepal, NPBC's primary objective is to promote professional boxing as a prominent sport among the Nepali populace and ensure its continual growth and development. Boxing enjoys global reverence, and the potential for professional boxing is on the rise daily. By showcasing talented boxers on the world stage, NPBC aims to transform the lives of numerous athletes, strengthen the nation's pride, and broaden its global recognition.
Max Boxing promotion has recently formed an association with Bells Boxing Academy in Lesmahagow, Scotland, in the year 2023. The primary objectives of this partnership are:
- To foster the growth of boxing in Nepal and promote European boxing events.
- To provide opportunities for talented Nepalese boxers.
- To educate and advocate against drug use among youth through boxing.
- To support street children by using boxing as a means to provide meals.
- To address mental health issues through boxing as a form of therapy.
- To empower women with self-defense skills through boxing training.
- To organize seminars and training sessions for the development of key skills in the sport, such as refereeing, judging, and cutman techniques, in the professional boxing realm.
